Collective Funds

Apply for financial support from the collective funds from Gramex

Gramex

The aim is for the funds to benefit the entire music community.

Application guidelines to the collective financial resources.

All performing artists/orchestras/ensembles or soloists can apply for the collective resources. As a rule, we cannot cover your entire basic funding, and we encourage you to also apply for other grants/funds. It is possible to apply for grants to music releases (not demos), live performances, study trips/professional development, etc. When you log on to the application page, you can choose to apply from the following pools:

  • Other music promotion actions: Special measures at home and abroad, establishing, “Vækstlag” project, festivals.
  • Professional development: continuing education/courses/stays of musical nature for educational or inspirational purposes.
  • Concerts: live music performances (generally given as subsidies to the musicians' fees)
  • Music releases: master tape recording, LP/CD/DVD publishing (additional releases).

Support is not given to: instrument purchases, catering, books, websites and video-/film recording (however, you can apply regarding the sound page if this has not previously been published), managers, fundraisers, work grants, PR/marketing or with retroactive effect - i.e. that subsidies are not granted for projects/initiatives that have already been completed at the time of application.

Regarding music releases, they must not already be publicly available/have had release.

You can apply for multiple grants simultaneously, as the grants are independent. If you have received support from one grant, you usually cannot expect funding for the same project initiative or person within a 2-year period.

Applications can only be made through our online system
